Our Story

Welcome to SuchDesign—where beautiful workspaces meet practical productivity.

This journey started in a small, cluttered room. It was 2023 when I realized that the majority of remote workers and freelancers around the world were sitting in uninspiring, uncomfortable spaces that drained their energy rather than fueled their creativity. I saw talented professionals—designers, writers, developers, entrepreneurs—working from setups that looked like they’d been thrown together in an afternoon. No thought to comfort. No attention to aesthetics. No consideration for how environment shapes performance.

I knew there had to be a better way.

As someone who has worked from home for years, experimenting with countless desk arrangements, lighting setups, and decor combinations, I discovered something profound: the right workspace can change everything. When my environment felt intentional and inspiring, my work improved. My mood lifted. My productivity skyrocketed. But there was nowhere comprehensive to find this information—no single resource that combined ergonomics, aesthetics, practical tips, and real-world solutions for people like me.

That’s when SuchDesign was born.

Our Mission

We believe that your workspace should be as unique and inspiring as the work you do in it.

SuchDesign exists to help remote workers, freelancers, entrepreneurs, and anyone working from home create spaces that look beautiful, feel comfortable, and maximize productivity. We’re not here to sell you expensive furniture or convince you that you need thousands of dollars to make your space work. We’re here to provide honest, practical, actionable guidance that fits your budget, your space, and your style.

Our Vision

We envision a world where remote work isn’t sacrificed for comfort or aesthetics. Where a home office isn’t just a place you tolerate—it’s a space you’re excited to work in every single day. Where design meets function. Where personal style meets ergonomic wellness. Where anyone, regardless of budget or square footage, can create a workspace that energizes them.

Why We’re Different

Unlike generic interior design sites, SuchDesign focuses specifically on work-from-home environments. We understand the unique challenges:

  • Limited space (studios and small apartments)
  • Budget constraints
  • Need for both professional appearance and personal comfort
  • Balancing work and living areas in one space
  • Ergonomic requirements that don’t exist in traditional offices
  • The psychological impact of your daily environment

We combine practical solutions with design inspiration. We talk about lumbar support in office chairs, but we also show you 30 chair styles to choose from. We explain the science of color psychology, then guide you through palettes that work in small spaces. We provide honest reviews of products, affiliate recommendations, and DIY solutions so you can make informed decisions.

Personalization and Mental Health

We understand that your workspace affects your mental health, focus, and well-being. We provide guidance on creating environments that support your emotional needs, not just your work tasks.

Our Approach

Honest and Research-Based: Everything we recommend is based on either personal experience, expert research, or reader feedback. We’re transparent when we don’t have experience with something.

Inclusive: Whether you’re a designer, programmer, writer, marketer, or student, our advice applies to your work-from-home situation. Whether you’re in a $500/month room or renovating your entire home office, we have solutions for you.

Practical Over Perfect: We’re not here to shame you into magazine-perfect spaces. We’re here to help you create a functional, beautiful space that works for your real life.

Constantly Learning: Design trends evolve. New products emerge. New challenges arise. We stay current and update our content regularly to reflect what’s actually working in 2025 and beyond.

Affiliate Transparent: We believe in transparency about affiliate relationships. We use affiliate links from Amazon Associates and other programs because it helps us keep this resource free and regularly updated. Our recommendations are honest regardless of commission rates.

About Me

I’m a digital marketing professional and content creator based in Bangladesh with a deep passion for design, productivity, and creating spaces where people can do their best work.

Beyond SuchDesign, I work with businesses on digital marketing strategy, content creation, and brand building. But my heart is in solving real problems for real people—and the remote work revolution created one of the most important problems I’ve encountered: How do we create workspaces that support both our productivity and our humanity?

I’ve tested dozens of desk setups, experimented with hundreds of lighting combinations, and lived through both beautiful and dysfunctional home offices. Those experiences, combined with research from design experts, ergonomic specialists, and behavioral scientists, inform everything you read on SuchDesign.

When I’m not writing about home offices, you’ll find me:

  • Exploring interior design on Pinterest
  • Testing new AI tools and productivity apps
  • Creating content about design and remote work
  • Helping clients build their digital presence
  • Constantly reorganizing my own workspace (yes, even designers rearrange their spaces too often!)

Our Values

Authenticity

We tell you the truth—even when it’s not what you want to hear. If something isn’t worth the price, we say so. If a cheaper alternative works just as well, we recommend it.

Empowerment

We empower you to make informed decisions. We provide information, not dictates. Your space should reflect your choices, not ours.

Inclusivity

Remote work isn’t just for tech workers. It’s for teachers, artists, service providers, students, parents, and people from every walk of life. Our advice reflects that diversity.

Sustainability

We encourage smart consumption. Buy less, choose well, make it last. We celebrate second-hand finds, DIY solutions, and furniture that stands the test of time.

Continuous Improvement

We’re always learning and improving. Your feedback matters. If something on SuchDesign isn’t helpful or isn’t working for you, let us know.

What’s Next?

SuchDesign is growing. We’re planning to expand into video content, interactive design tools, and a community where remote workers can share their workspace setups and solutions. We’re also exploring partnerships with furniture companies, designers, and productivity experts to bring you even more value.

But our core mission remains the same: helping you create a workspace that looks good, feels amazing, and supports your best work.
